Thread: 1851 Census Look up please.

Would some kind person please look up for me on 1851 Censu for Lancashire Pendleton/Manchester areas

George Robinson b 1800 occ farmer.

Wife Ann b 1806

and family.

They were found on the 1841 Census for Brindle heath Pendleton.

George died in 1857.

Would appreciate look ups on other census for Ann.

I have had a brief look at the 1851 Census and can find only 2 George Robinsons with a wife named Ann, it is possible that Ann may not have been present at the time of the census (eg visiting family)

Neither seem to fit exactly, One was a Grocer born in Dublin and the other was a Brick and tile maker born in Yorkshire

Do you know Ann's Maiden name or any children they may have had?
Do you know where George and Ann were born and when they married?
Do you know where and when Ann Died
If you can provide any other clues I will have another look

Looks like you have some of the children there, but Mary Hall doesn't fit if George did not die until 1857.

I have drawn a blank here. Sorry.

Thank you for that information re: Robinsosn. Yes it looks like they are some of the children.


I dont know when Ann died

George married Ann Burgess in 1821 at Eccles Parish Church. They had 10 children in all.

George b @1821 Esther b@ 1827 Amelia b 1829 Hannah b @1829 Faith b @1835 Elizabeth b@ 1840 Mary b 1825 Ann b@ 1831 and Mary b @ 1840

Any help finding these greatly appreciated.
