can anyone tell me if there is a list of illegitimacy orders for liverpool around the begining of the 1800,s

Hello Kimberlynn,

Usually, Illegitimacy Orders, also known as *******y Bonds, are kept at the local County Record Office either under the Parish Poor Law Records or Quarter Sessions.

In your case, you will need to contact Liverpool Record Office to see if they hold the documents.

thanks notebook! already contacted record office, held at lancashire rec office preston not liverpool, have to go there though, i wondered if there was anything online? regards k.
