Thread: HELP IN LOOKING FOR COATES INFO PLEASE

i AM VERY UNSURE HOW OR WHERE TO START.
i HAVE MY FATHERS PARENTS WEDDING CERTIFICATE BUT CAN FIND NO RECORD OF THEIR DEATHS OR THEIR OTHER CHILDRENS RECORDS.
CAN ANYONE FIND THIS INFORMATION OUT FOR ME IF THEY ARE GOING TO THE RECORDS OFFICE.

THEIR MARRIAGE TOOK PLACE IN THE DISTRICT OF SOTHWARK, LONDON.
HE WAS JOHN WILLIAM COATES AND SHE PHYLLIS Mc.NAMEE MARRIED 12TH JANUARY 1912. THEY HAD 3 CHILDREN, 2 GILRS AND A BOY. 1 GIRL NAMED PHYLLIS AND MY FATHER LESLIE JOHN COATES.
HIS MOTHER SUPPOSEDLY DIED IN CHILDBIRTH AND HIS FATHER WENT FOR HELP AND WAS NEVER SEEN AGAIN.
THE CHILDREN ENTERED AN ORPHANAGE.

IF SOMEONE COULD HELP IN FINDING OUT WHEN AND WHERE THEY DIED OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIS SISTERS OR ANY MAMBER OF HIS FAMILY, I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL.

SOMEONE please help. My fathers parents were JOHN WILLIAM COATES and PHYLLIS Mc.NAMEE married 12th January 1912. He was 25yrs and she 19yrs old. Their marriage cert is hard to read but it was in the district of Southwark county of London.

They had 3 children. Two girls, one named Phyllis and a son called LESLIE JOHN COATES, my father.

The only information I have is that Phyllis (his mother) died in childbirth and his father went for a doctor and was never seen again. I believe my father and his sisters were then placed in an orphanage.

I would like to find out about his parents deaths (i.e. when and where) and also what became of his sisters.

Hopefully someone could help find this information out for me, I would be so grateful or, any information on their ancestors.

I have been searching in Ancestry and come across these births for Coates with the mother's maiden name being McNamee..
