Thread: Parish record Help Please

Well i am Stumped well and Truly!

I have Done Quite well over the last few weeks.... and now Stuck.

I have a William C Jennings Born in 1835 in tipton in Stafforshire. It Says his parents were Solomon Jennings and Mary. (1841 census found saying they Born around 1816 but i know 1841 census ages were Rounded up or Down.) i have Searched High and Low for this Man But i cannot Find anything.

Solomon is Like a Ghost before 1841. i cannot Find His marriage to mary Nor can i find a birth for him.

I was hoping maybe someone could take a look for me and see if there is something i missed

1. On 04 MAY 1834 at Wolverhampton St Peter in county of STS Groom Solomon JENNINGS Status – Occupation – Residence – in county of – Notes – Bride Mary CRAMAGE Status – Occupation – Residence – in county of – Notes – Banns or Licence – General Notes – Source –
Amount paid £0.07

i'm having a scout about now for you emma

it could possibly be made more difficult in that tipton is now in the birmingham area - but it was as you say in staffordshire at that time

anyway i'll have a looksie - but i just wanted to say hi - you must know me by my user name - cos i knew yours from another site we both frequent!!

YEP! Thats the Marriage.... Can Tell by the Wifes Silly Surname LOL.... Her Son has the same Middle Name.

That Site is Cool.... shame no Solomon in there for Baptism tho
