Thread: Sarah Swanton 1851c please.

I have a Sarah Swanton born 1835 in Wigan Lancashire.

Shes here on the 1841c, HO107; Piece 523; Book: 10; Civil Parish: Wigan; County: Lancashire; District: 19; Folio: 17; Page: 26; Line: 24; GSU roll: 306909.. .....Pitt St Wigan,

Her parents seem to vanish after the 1841c so presume both are dead. Her siblings seem to be with different relatives but I cant find Sarah on the 1851 census. Help appreciated, thanks

Have checked 1851 Cencus CD for Wigan, unfortunately without trace, sorry

This woman has given me a headache lol..

She married William Owens in 1853 so she was around somewhere.

Me again Light,
Have been checking Ancestry.com for Sarah and having put her name in search bar 1835 - 1861 born Lancashire, three came up ages 11,3 & 2 under the heading 1851 Cencus sample it could be the 11yr old is who your looking for. Maybe someone with access to this cencus can check it out for you.

Checked it Nanna,

The 2 year old is Charles granddaughter and the 11 yr old is Charles daughter..All my family but sadly not the right Sarah, thanks again
