im looking for george norman married to harriet .born in norwich in about 1840.can anyone find any siblings for him. also harriets maiden name please

Hi Pamd,

Is it possible George was born about 1830/1?

The only George born Norwich and married to Harriet which I can find was born c.1830. He's living in Bethnal Green in 1871 and 1881, could this be him?

pretty sure thats not him as the 1881 census puts him in norwich.but thanks

I was about to ask the same. Also was he married to Harriet in 1881 ?
The only George Norman I can find born in Norwich, Norfolk was in Middlesex in 1861,1871 & 1881 married to a Harriet. His age on the census ranges from 1829-1831.

on the 1891 census george was 33 he was a shoemaker married to harriet r?her age 30. his children were alice 5,elizabeth[my grandmother] 10,george 11/12 ,rose or rosa 8. , william norman age 74 occupation tanner i pressume his father.elizabeth married robert warren 6/8/1912.at the time she was living at 50 pitt street norwich,so would think so were her parents.thats as much as i know.the parish :norfolk. ecclesiastical parish:st saviour norfolk:sub district:east wymer.i wanted to get georges marriage cert but couldnt find harriets maiden name.

just read the last one again im curious as his daughter elizabeth was born in 1881 so if it is him why is he living with his sister as elizabeth was the eldest. mmm , might not be him
