and his family 1851--1901 Census for Eccles Barton on Irwell.

Also Jesse Grayson b 1875 Eccles and family on 1891-1901 census for Eccles Barton on Irewll

in 1851 he his with parents and alfred aged 6 born manchester. thomas is railway labourer. they live in timperley cheshire . so it looks as if thomas visit to ireland was a very short one as only jesse was born there

in 1871 jesse is married to mary ann (born 1851 lancs) and there is no children and only them there at 9 savoy street , gorton , lancs. jesse is wheelwright

in 1881 jesse and mary ann are with their chidlren thomas 9 ( born gorton), jesse 6 and rachel 1 (both born barton) living at 71 and 73 peel green road, barton upon irwell. he is a joiner employing 2 men

next door at number 72 is alfred grayson railway engine driver with wife ann (1847 patricroft, lancashire) and children mary h 24, ada 22, lizzy 21, bella 19, alfred 17 and alice 10

in 1901 jesse and hannah are still living at 74 milton street with children frederick, harry, gladys, richard and also stepson robert fry. he is a joiner as is roobert fry and son richard. frederick is an iron turner also present is mary e tonge servant.

also next door alfred is still there with wife ann and daughter alice. there is also john read visitor with wife ada (presumably ada greyson) and child phylis aged 1.
