Default Grandad WWI.

I was looking through the Electoral Rolls for Brum, and on the 1918 Absent Voters List I found my Grandad. He was listed as 16098 Pte Wells H.E. 8 Bn Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry.

I had no idea he had served in the first war, and with the help of some wonderful people on the World War One Site, I was able to track him from England to France, and then on to Macedonia, where he stayed until 1919.

I know this is my Grandad because his address on the Electoral Roll is the same address that 2 of his children were born at. What a find 'eh.
