Default A new cousin

I thought you all might like to know that thanks to this wonderful site Iam meeting a cousin I never knew existed! She lives in Bridgwater and we are in the process of arranging when to meet and where!
It's brilliant! We have great-great-grandparents in common, and they had 16 children, so I most probably have more "unknown" cousins out there!
As you can tell, I'm pretty excited about this.

Will do. There's so much to go over and sort out before we arrange to meet, so I#ll have to get started!

Hello everyone!
I just thought I'd let you all know that I'm meeting my cousin for the first time next Wednesday. I'm really, really excited, but also nervous. She lives on Gypsy site just outside of Bridgwater.
I will let you know how it goes!

Well, my meeting with my cousin went very well. It was the first time I've ever been on a Romany Traveller's home site, and they made me us feel so welcome.
The site is a permanent site and there were only about 8 caravans there, but it was a real community with real community spirit, it was just so welcoming.
Of course, it took us a while to try and find it and when we eventually got there the first thing my cousin said was "You got lost, didn't you?"
But it was great, she'd cooked us a brilliant meal, and we got on like a house on fire. I don't know why I was so nervous!
Anyway we talked and talked and talked about our family connections and who came from which line, etc. The day just went too fast! But we're certainly going again, and she's going to visit us sometime, so we're looking forward to that.
All in all a good visit, and I can't wait till next time!
