Post Royal connections!

Hi all, loved reading your posts and thought I'd add mine,

I have discovered that my grandmother lived in Wellington House in New Zealand in 1963 and the queens cook and I'm very pleased that I recently tracked down the article printed in the Liverpool Echo covering the story. I would love to find records of her employment there and also details of her journey there, I'm not sure if she would have sailed or not, does anyone know how I would find this out? cheers

Hi coochiecoo,

Have you seen this thread from our "Duchess" Floss ? http://www.ancestryaid.co.uk/boards/showthread.php?t=1483

If anyone can help I am sure that Floss would be able to advise you where to start. It might pay for you to send her a PM. Good luck.
