do you have any pics of youre gipsy lee i can remember some timeback seeing a pic of her and thinking my grandad looked alot like her but cant find that picture just wanted to double check and see what you think i sent a pic of my puridadus to lucy lea have a look if you can and tell me what you think thanks kelly x

No I don't have any photo's at all, althought I would love some just to see what they look like.

Are you a member of the Romany and Traveller Family HIstory Society? if you are, there are some photo's in this quarters issue of my g-g-granddads brother. His name was James Lee, but was known as Toodley, or Jimmy Toodley. The photos are of him building a Vardo (Kite Wagon)

I am interested in the postings on LEE and RICHARDS. M husbands 2 grt gandfather was Joseph Richardswho 'married' Mary Ann LEE.
Their son David RICHARDS married Annie LEE. His sister Sarah married Eli BOSWELL and Henry WHARTON. David and Annie's daughter Elizabeth is my husbands grandmother. Would love to hear from anyone with any relation to this family.

my auntie has told me my grt nans name was really mary ann lee and not ann lee she also told me that marys husband was not charlie lambert but charlie smith and was a blacksmith by trade otherwords a petulengro in romany ,and that marys mother was the original gypsy rose lee the\family were kent and london based if any one has any info would be great thank kelly xthe famalia had a scrap metal businessmily my grandad mary and charlies son and his brothers had a livery stables in london .
