where is this place?

Hi all I figured this was probably the best place to ask this question
I have found a family record in my tree with "STS, ENG." as the place of birth ... can I ask if it would be Staffordshire before I go changing it and discovering I was wrong

They are using the Chapman Code of County abbreviations and yes, it is Staffordshire.
