This house was owned by Walter and Elizabeth Wheelton soon after it was built. It stood on Garners Lane in Davenport, Stockport, next to a small church and was derelict for many years before it was demolished in 1997.

Its last recorded owners were listed as James and Louie Dale in around 1966, I think.



Those of you who have read my previous post about Christ Church in Heaton Norris will know that I'm trying to research old buildings in Stockport and this house is one of them, due to it's long-term derelict state and all of the urban legends surrounding it.



Does anybody have any photos of this house, either in its occupied or derelict state? I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price for any photos
