Looking for Blyth family descendants [of Sth Shields}
Is anyone out there descended from Walter Blyth b about 1839 in Scotland and his wife Ellen kunan b about 1856 in Ireland? The family are in Sth Shields in all the census. Children were Mary, Bridget, John, Samuel and MArgaret.
Mary married Samuel Thomas Betteridge. Dont know anything about the others. They were all still single until 1901 census. Walter died 1905 Sth Shields. I cant find a death for Ellen but she was still alive in 1901.
The children of Mary Blyth /Samuel Betteridge were Edward William 1899 ,Maude Mary 1903,[Maude came to Australia and married John Louis Worrall], Gertrude Amy 1907 [married Joseph Kitching ] Margaret 1910 [m William Fryer] Samuel 1909 [m Pheobe Perry} Bridget [m James Laffey] and Rose[ m George Lorriman]
