Thread: Hodgsons of Chester le Street

I'm researching the Hodgson line from Nicholson Bldgs in Chester le Street. Francis Hodgson was a master tailor born in C1842 at Cocken Hall. Anyone who may have a link feel free to contact me.

I have a George Hodgson and a Charles Hodgson, both of whom were in the hosiery/drapery/tailoring business. It may be that your Francis Hodgson was related. Francis' wife was called Annie and they were both born in Co.Durham in 1842/3. They lived at 18 John Street in the 1901 Census. A William Hodgson (a miner) lived at the same address in 1901.
