I am on the east coast so I am 5 hours behind you.
Dave Hi, You have a possible death that Slizzy has found for you and a possible marriage..The free sites are good to use and can be very informative but I would be still purchase a copy of the marriage certificate from the GRO (General Records Office)..You can purchase on line and being as you have the ref and page number and place and a name (Emma Cherry) the rest is easy..The marriage cert will tell you the Fathers name and his profession which should read Coal Miner..At least if this is your girl you will know who she married..Also there will be witnesses mentioned on the marriage cert and could possibly be Emma's siblings..?

Thanks Lady Marion. I was going to ask you about how much is it per document in Amreican dollars but I see you are in Australia. Can anyone tell me about how much it is in American dollars per document from the GRO?
Slizzy, did I clear it up for you on the Robert Cherry family?
Hi,
Each certificate costs £9.25, this is approximately 15 US dollars - there maybe a small additional charge for postage.
Thanks Slizzy. That seems a little steep if you researching collateral lines but I would consider it if the person were a direct ancestor.
Did my Cherry family explanation make sense?
Dave
Dave Hi, I ordered a certificate on line a few weeks back and there was no additional charge for postage..Nine pounds 25 is the correct price that Slizzy has told you above..Let us know how you get on please.

At this point I don't think I am going to order it. Emma is a collateral line. Thanks
Hi Dave,
Yes, your explanation makes sense. However I have had no luck as yet in finding what happened to Emma!
Thanks Slizzy
