Thread: Fitzpatrick Family

I know that Fitzpatrick is a fairly commonly used surname but, I was wondering if anyone knew of a family from the Rathfarnham/Kilternan area (early 20th Century) with links to my wifes Father:
Peter Fitzpatrick b:1900 married Bridget Tunstall approx 1920?
Known Children : Thomas, Peter, William, Christina.
Peter moved to liverpool approx 1935 remarried Margaret Patterson ... Children : Edward and Veronica 1941 / 1944
We have tried every possible avenue we know of to trace Peter and Bridgets forbears but had no success and would be very grateful if someone more knowledgeable could help us in our search.

Peter Fitzpatrick’s marriage to Bridget Tunstall was registered in Dublin South Oct – Dec 1923, Volume 2, page 359. You can order a photocopy of that cert from GRO Roscommon for €4. Be sure to quote all the above information on the application.

The General Register Office Ireland :: An tSeirbhs um Chlr Sibhialta


Then use the information on that cert to find the respective families in the 1911 & 1901 Irish censuses.
