Trying to establish the origin of the fore name Usher used throughout several generations of the Oswald family from the early 1800..I have a record of Robert Waddell Oswald chr. 1793 Dromore Parish.. Parents George Oswald and Elenor Usher, this sounds a good bet but have drawn a blank on marriage dates or any info on these two..
Robert married Mary Jane McCarter and they had many children so there just maybe a bucket load of researched information out there..
