Lewis family Exeter, Bradninch, Coleford 1912-1916
Trying to trace any further information on Lewis family living at 56 Sandford Street, Exeter in October 1912, Kensham Lodge, Bradninch in December 1913 and 'The Village' Coleford in 1916. Father was Henry, mother Rose, and children would have been Harry, John Charles (Jack), George Stanley, Bessie May, and Maud (all born in Deal, Kent), Edward born 1912 in Exeter, and Thomas (Tom) born 1913 in Bradninch. In 1912 Henry was working as a Grocer's vanman in Exeter, in 1914 as a Groom and gardener. In 1916 Rose was in Coleford with at least the younger children.
Does anyone have any access to local directories, parish records, etc for this period which might add anything to my family knowledge and what I have learned from censuses and certificates? Or any suggestions as to other places to try for information. The family were from Deal, Kent, originally, and Rose and children were back there by 1919, by which time Henry may have died. He was certainly dead by 1925. Prior to the Devon stay he was in the Royal Marines based in Deal.
