Thread: Wheelhouse family of Barlborough

I'm searching the Wheelhouse Family from Barlborough and Markington Yorkshire I've got back to my grt.grt.grandfather George Wheelhouse Born Markington Yorkshire in1824 and now I've hit the wall,I believe he married someone called Ann and they had 9 children,but i can't get any further back.I'm trying to find if George had any brothers ,I'm finding various Wheelhouses from Markington around that time and most seem to have moved to Barlborough. Anyone got any ideas to get over the wall.

Hi Valium thanks for that,this is what i have i'm sure it's the right George but the birth dates aren't quiet right I have the Ann as being born 1836 and George 1824 all the other census quote George born 1824. 1881 is the only one that say's 1831.

Thanks Valium I've got back to the late 1700's with this side of the family,I was wondering if you lived anywere near Bloxwich as I'm trying to find out which church my Grt. Grandfather was a lay preacher in.
