    Default killcline in clay cross

My ancestor Ann (Annie) Killcline (or Kilcloyne, Kilcline) first shows up in the area on the 1881 census, with mum and dad, living at Charles Street, Hasland. she is age 5 and born in Roscommon, Ireland, move on 10 years to 1891 census and she is not there (age 15 not unusual)
Then i have her giving birth to a son James on 20-10-1896, in the Union Workhouse, Chesterfield. Next i have her on the Mormon's search engine in 1900 as a marriage to Owen Brady at St Thomas, Brampton. My cousin has been to Matlock records and the banns were read, but record of the marriage.
    HELP!!
    Thanks in advance

    Hello
The entry on thre familysearcj.org.uk site reads

Owen BRADY = Annie KILLCLINE 08/07/1900 St Thomas Brampton Derbyshire, you should be able to order the relevant PArish register and view it at a local LDS centre, have a look at library on the toolbar. There are quite a number in Portugal

try this link related to the parish records

    Hi elsabels,

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately my cousin in the UK has been to the library and seen the film, there is nothing there, when she approached the RC father at the Nottingham records office she was told we would have to pay for him to research the records.

Think i am going to draw a blank on this one!

You may find some information in these two sites - the first relates just to Clay Cross and the second is an ongoing index by a Matlock RO archivist of records in their holding to do with Bastardy, Apprenticeship, Settlement, etc. - all sorts of things.

You say there was a record of Banns; what information did it give ? e.g. were both parties 'Of this Parish ?'

The record office /church records for Chesterfied and Clay Cross would have been in Derbyshire NOT Nottingham. Are we looking in the right area?

She has been to both the Matlock records office and the Nottingham one, plus the Sheffield records for the Catholic church.
