A Long shot – but do you have any information about the following Wibberley family of Bakewell, Derbyshire please –
John Wibberley and wife Mary 3 daughters that I know of – Anne 1729 who married George Turner in 1749 (my husband’s line of descent), Dorothy 1731 who married George Newton and Elizabeth 1733. Any information you can help me with would be very welcome. Thank you June |

Don;t think I can be of much help barnsyard. The earliest Wibberly I have is Ralph (b.1797) married to Sarah ? They lived in Osmaston - there's no mention of any of them living or moving to Bakewell.
Sorry but it was worth a try. Good luck |

Hi June
I do hope there is a connection. I'm researching George Turner for a dear friend , He decends from George Turner and Ann Wibberley 1729 Bakewell Derby. I have information on his decendants but not much on Ann except the name of her mum and dad -John and Mary. My friend has an old family bible which with some enteries we have not been able to trace. My friend in Keith Turner and his wife Margaret came from Nottinghamshire to Tasmania years ago. Do you think there could be a connection.? Regards Hildi |
