Thread: Tom/toms

For years I have been trying to trace the parent/parents of James Tom/Toms b.(he says) in Egloshayle Cornwall.1843/4. to no avail. His marraige cert. states his father was Antony Tom- agr.lab. but the only Anthony's I have found were in Devon (Toms). He may well have been illegitimate but I have no prove of that. Would love to find out who he belonged to. Any help would be much appreciated.
