Exclamation Planned Simplification

Greetings,

I have recently had a few members email me to inform me that they are unable to "keep up" with Ancestry Aid. This is mainly because they find the boards very complicated and over whelming. I have not noticed this but that is because I built the forum and know my way round it like the back of my hand.
As always, Ancestry Aid WILL listen to its members and try to come up with a solution to their problems. After all, you are the reason we are here.

Following these recent requests by members to try and simplify our boards I have now come up with the following plan in order to try and make their AA experience as easy to use as possible whilst also not losing any of the features we currently have.
  1. Offer Help Board - All sub forum (i.e English Related etc) posts will be moved into the Parent Forum (Offer Help) and the sub-forums will be removed.
  2. Adoption Help - All posts within the Adoption Help forum will be moved to the Most Wanted Family History board. This will then be re-named to Most Wanted Family History & Adoption Help
  3. General Web Help - All posts will be moved to the Coffee Room and the General Web Help board will be removed.
  4. 1841 Census Databases - This will be renamed to Census Information and ALL posts in the Census Mis-Transcriptions boards will be moved into here. The census mistranscriptions boards will then be removed.
At present they are the only changes I will be making. As you can see I have managed to do this WITHOUT deleting any posts. If you have any other ideas that you think will help members to keep up with the site then I am open to your views.

Many Thanks

Jon
