Thread: Been in bed all day!

Hi everyone, I've been in bed all day. I woke up this morning feeling like total ***p. I thought that maybe it would pass, so I got dressed and did myself some dry toast and tea. Couldn't face it. I had a thumping head so I took a couple of pills and sat quietly for a while. In the end I phoned work and took the day off. First rule of working in a kitchen if you are ill is GO HOME!!
Anyway it was a good job I phoned in sick because just as I'd put the phone down I had to run to the loo, and only just made it. Yuk! I won't be eating fishfingers for a while!!! So then I got back into bed and slept like a baby. I feel so much better now, still a bit heady, but better than what I was.
I'll go out and get some fresh air in a minute, that'll clear me head!!

Careful if you go out in case of snow and make sure you keep warm. Last thing you need is a chill.
Hope you get better soon................just to jump on the bandwagon............I now have Bill's 'Man flu'.........(translation - head cold !). Bunged up nose, forever blowing it, ears keep popping, headache.................need I go on...........?

Sorry to hear you've not been well Flood, and that you're now feeling a little better. Wrap up warm if you go out, like Mary say's we don't want you coming down with anything else.Take care.

Have been in bed all morning and felt like s**t !! Had to ring Bill to come home from work .........got up lunchtime and wonder if I should have done. Head feels like a brick landed on it. At least the endless sneezing has stopped.
Of course.....Bill's symptoms are equally as bad as mine.............lol We have this mutual comparison of who feels the worst.........me or him. I reckon it's me and thats why he's in charge and I'm having the nearest I can to a 'day off'.........lol

Headaches gone...........well just about................now feel drained............like old dish rag.............lol
And my Mums been on the phone full of the joys of spring with what she's been doing...........lol
