Mary, I thought you'd just like to know that snow was trying to fall down here this morning. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to wake up and see snow tomorrow morning. Yippeeee!!!

And here's the weather for the rest of the month.............

8/2 to 14/2
Unsettled weather with further outbreaks of rain which could be heavy at times is expected across the UK. There is the possibility that it will be colder at times in northern areas with the chance of some sleet or snow in northern areas. However, temperatures are expected to be often close the seasonal average. Windy at times.

15/2 to 21/2
Colder conditions may develop for a time with a risk of sharp overnight frosts developing. Some wintry showers are possible in northern and eastern areas. Later in the week quiet and dry weather is expected with temperatures returning to the seasonal average.

22/2 to 28/2
Dry and settled but often mild conditions are expected to develop during the week. Some bright and sunny weather is likely to develop quite widely

We will probably get a light dusting of snow as we're in a valley. The last time we had really deep snow here was when I was born in 1978. It was just under 2 metres deep!
