Tv broke down yesterday,as new son took it back with hubbie and got new one,i stayed with grandchildren,we were chatting about no having tv, and how we use to listen to the wirless ect, grandson bless him asked me what a wireless was,well all said and done i suppose i should have said Radio but then grandaughter started telling me the history she is learning at school, they are doing the 2nd world war now but


we havnt done the 1st world war nanny,you and grandad were in

[ weres me hair dye,wrinkle cream ect ect ]

Radio 2 all day for me..........Wake up th Wogan............laugh a minute it is........Ken Bruce and his pop quiz, (I'm c**p at that!), Jeremy Vine............discussion/music. Give it a go during the day and evenings as well. Loads of comedy stuff on Radio 4. Honest, if I had to chose between the tele and the 'wireless'.........it's wireless every time.............(or is that me showing my age?)

Reminds me of when I was talking about "records" and a "record player", young Loz looked at me and sed Mum whats one of those??!!?

PMSL had to get me vinyl collection out, dust em off an show the kids a real record!!!

They were "intrigued" to say the least lmao

LOL they went in to shockmode when we told em we only had 3 TV stations to choose from........ You mean ya dint have SkyTV mum????!!
