Default Seacat in Crash on River Mersey

Seacat Express One outward bound to Isle of Man has been involved in a crash with cargo vessel Alaska Rainbow.
Two tugs & two lifeboat's and a coastguard team were used to remove crew and 294 passenger's from the ferry, shortly after the incident at noon today.
There were no injuries reported and crew and passenger's disembarked safely.
It's believed there is some damage to Seacat Express One which is being investigated, it having undergone repairs last year.
The cargo vessel is at anchor and may return to port for an inspection.

No not a wind up. Just so glad that none of my Family were on board when it happened, it must have been terrifying for the passengers. Thankfully there are no reports of injury as Nanna has already stated.
When I was told about it I had to think if any of my lot were on the boat cos they back and forward all the time but I feel sorry for those who were. Scary stuff
Oh Mary thanks for thinking of me mate

Mollie, Petal, Waks and everyone, I feel thoroughly ashamed now. I'm so glad that none of your family were on board, Mollie. And I'm glad nobody was hurt.

Hi Mollie,

I'm glad you hadn't booked to go on that one like last time it happened. Is this a new thing or has it always happened between Liverpool and the Ilse of Mouse and we just haven't heard of it or taken notice till we met you

Flood,

Don't worry about it & you certainly don't have anything to be ashamed about...you weren't to know

It's guaranteed that if you'd have taken the message seriously, it would have been meant as a joke

Keep smiling xxx

Hi Star. Accidents happen from time to time as they do on any form of transport. The Irish Sea can be very dangerous at times but I don't think the incidinces of accidents are any greater than they are on any other coastal waters. Just glad there were no injuries or worse.

Flood........don't worry mate
