Hi Flood, Mary has it right - Bayko sets came with a green base into which rods were put, you were then able to slide bricks, windows and doors between the rods, the possibilities of design were endless and no doubt Bayko encouraged some young designers into a profession of architecture. If you look on e-bay Flood you will find lots of Bayko sets. The other great thing about Bayko was, once you owned a set it was possible to add to it with individual pieces, my pocket money was often spent on a Bayko door, fence, window or chimney.

I agree Petal - Bayko was better than Lego and it encouraged one to be technical and to use design skills.

Didn't see the childhood memory jewellery box, no doubt it was bought by someone else last week. However I did buy a cd from the year I was born with 20 original songs on it. Plus information of what what went on in 1951
