Default How do you get Organised ?

I got up this morning with all good intentions. Saw our new lad off to his bus at the daft hour of 7am...........coffee and ciggie (oops trying to give up). Put washing in the machine (it's done but still in there).
Switched computer on...............just to check e mails.................been here ever since, apart from bring the shopping in when it was delivered and having conversation with Mum on the phone.
So my plans to
1. wash hair and trim fringe (should have had it done last week properly)
2. Give bedroom once over with duster and work out which jumper/jamas/anything else to take to Mums
3. Clear rubbish off my desk so I can actually see it
4. Put away dishes I washed up this morning
5. Make sure paperworks up to scratch so Bill can understand it when I'm away
6. Clear bed settee of carrier bag from help the aged and put contents where they should go
7. Hang up recently purchased coat from charity shop before Bill spots it (I dont really need another one but what the heck I liked it)
8. sort out grandmas locket with piccys of me and big bruv in so I don't forget to take it to mums
9. Do check list of anything else I ought to be taking with me
10. Take shredded paper out to bin.

There.............ten little things........all could have been done............so why couldn't I get my head round it, do them and then switch on computer ? Shouldn't be that hard should it?

Perhaps we should find a name for this condition, as I'm a fellow sufferer! I had loads to do today.....

I took Connor to his footy match as planned, I dropped him off at his party as planned, I washed up (left them on drainer tho), I fed my youngest & waved my eldest off as she dissappeared to my Sis's for a spot of babysitting tonight.

I never quite managed to vac & dust the dining room, I forgot to get the joint out of the freezer for tomorrow's dinner, I haven't done the washing that's sat on the kitchen floor infront of the washer, the ironing's still sat in the basket, the bath has still got the remains of Connor's mud from his footy match in it, & my hubby is now making the tea after getting home from work???

I have managed to play quite afew of the word games on here today, I've posted the history of tin mining in Cornwall on here, I've replied to some of the messages on here, I've done some research for my tree, I found a couple of stray relatives.....oh, & I've made a list of all the "History of..." idea's I've got for this week whilst you're away Mary.

What do you think

Helen.....

I did the little History thing off the Links and Tips Geneology site.........made a nice little tale for my grandkids. It's fun doing that..........come to think of it I think that took up most of the afternoon,
I did take the shopping in and put it away........had a look in the garden, came back inside. Looked at all the stuff to do..............told myself........in a bit..........just one more coffee............I;ll just look at this thread, I'll just browse through this site.
Then found a web site I couldnt leave alone.............I put it on Links and tips and blessed if I can remember what its called........something to do with architecture but theres loads more on there............much more fun than sorting out the washing............oh and the hoovering is getting desparate and our bedroom............well words fail me !
Maybe tomorrow..................see poem...............lol

Oh dear......poor Bill is sneezing
Next thing he'll be wheezing
I;m sure it's all the dust
So tomorrow houseworks a must !

And here I am with a guilty whine
Hang on...the hoover's not solely mine !
My names not printed on the thing
So Bill.....go for it.........make it sing !

Sorry............couldnt resist that. No chance that he'll do it though. He'd rather sneeze away, ooops now hes blowing his nose. Dinners about ready and he'splaying the Beatles love album.........aaahhhhhhh !!!!
