Poor anny seems to be the only one without an avatar !
The trouble is, I do like to ring the changes, and I've used up the only three of my favourite pictures that just happened to turn out the right size when I put them into the computer.
Can anyone explain to me - in words of one syllable - how to convert something with too many pixel things into something small enough to be acceptable as an avatar ?
Thanks,
anny.

PS. Sorry, just realised that this should probably have been put
on 'Site Help '.

I had the same problem Annie and ended up trawling through Google Images. Found some lovely ones but they were just too big.

How beautiful it is to do nothing and rest afterwards...

Hi Annie

I open my pictures on computer with MS Photo Editor, then go to RESIZE PICTURE and go to about 80%, lol then i go back and see if it is within the size limits.

Does that make sense??!!

Lmao , it does to me!!?!

Hi anny,

If you wish too, please email it to me and I will resize it for you.

A very kind offer, Jon, and I might take you up on that.
I'll choose one and try to send it to you.
And Loz - it doesn't, actually, make an awful lot of sense to me at the moment, but you know what I'm like, and when I've thought about it a bit and and looked into it, I'm sure it will, and thank you very much for your suggestion.
