Thread: Stupid Cold!

This stupid cold is driving me round the bend! I even drove my boss up the wall, so she's given me a new nickname "Snotty". Charming!! After all I do for that woman! She told me I have "woman flu'" not "man flu'".Oh well fair enough, I suppose. I have been in a bit of a wounded soldier mood today!

Oh dear Flood...............poor you. Hubby is sneezing a bit........hope thats not going to be 'man flu' (aka common cold!) otherwise everyone will suffer one way or another. Though it could be that the top fell off the pepper pot just before dinner

Just take plenty of lemon and honey drinks, Mollie swears by Vitamen C tablets, vic vapour rub, (clears the nose a treat) and echinechea...................ooops.........reminds me....I normally start taking them about now and I've run out !!!

Oh Snotty...sorry Flood you poor thing......If you have Woman Flu it means you really are not too well and I sympathise with you.....can't empathise cos I don't do colds...........lol. Like Mary said...Vitamin C tabs......1 a day is my saviour. They build up the immune system..............I suppose all the rest have varying effects as well but never need to resort to em.........lol (says me who has just recovered from a lung infection). Have a couple of Hot Todddies...that'll sort ya out................don't look at the Whisky as a drink......look at it as medicine...........Hope you are well soon

Thanks for the advice Petal, I too swear by echinecha. I drink quite a bit of it around this time of year, and it does wonders.

And I'm feeling a lot better today.
