Thread: I,ve just put up my advent calendar up ready for tomorrow

I have just put up my reusuable advent calendar with my 6yr old daughter whilst her triplet 10yr old siblings are at a disco. They take it in turns to have a chocolate.
It was great being able to keep the magic alive for her as my other three are begining to realsie there isnt a santa.

Has everyone else got theirs ready?

My kids used to love them but then the oldest got into the habit of opening all the windows in one go when I wasn't looking and spoiling it all for his younger brother..........he used to somehow find where I'd hidden his presents as well and I'd find them carefull undone and feebly stuck back in the wrapping..............lol Then he denied all knowledge of it all but since he's now a Dad himself he admits all...............lol

My mum has brought me mine a giant buttons advent calender where she (my mum) prefers the traditional style of the nativity scene
