Been listening to the auctions on Radio 2 all week. They've raised an amazing amount of mony. Just goes to show......people to care. Wish it wasn't just once a year though.
Never did see the final total raised........bit of a crisis with kids here............came home a midnight and I got to bed at half one so missed the last bit of tele
Still...........kids must have re-charged both their phones and their brains last night. One of them cooked a full english breakfast and washed up last nights dishes as well !!! Thought I must be dreaming.....................lol

I missed the last total but they were ahead of last year when I last heard. They must have done well as the site went down. My husband recons it was because they needed all the phone lines. I don't remember the server being unavailabe last year, so they must have done well. My daughter spent all day in her Pyjamas. She wasn't at home either. She drove to work like it, went shopping etc. If I asked her the rest of the year to put the rubbish out, there would be no way she would have done it in her pyjamas.

Good for her for doing that anyway Star.
Just checked the Children in Need site and they raised £18,300,392 it says and that normally doubles, if not more, by the time they get all the other money in from various places.
Must admit though I wasn't so impressed with the programme itself. Seems to be music, music and more music. Maybe they're aiming it at the younger element. Highlight of the evening for me was QI on BBC 2. Children in Need Special and very funny.
Radio 2 all week was worth listening to all last week............funny and very entertaining.
