Thanks Val, much appreciated..
Still feeling tired and weak, but there's nothing like the thought of a good party to make you feel better, so I thought I'd better check that Raven and Light weren't too busy changing the arrangements. The problem is, with those two, and their bendy straws, things can degenerate very quickly. ![]() |

Are you sitting comfortably..
Then I'll begin. Once upon a time there was a wealthy descendant of the famous Ewing family of Dallas, Texas. Her name, Raven was very apt, a dark little bird with twinkling eyes, and a mischievous nature. Raven inherited an unimaginable fortune from her Ewing ancestors, and decided to dedicate that fortune to giving pleasure to her friends from the AA community. To begin things, she invited all the members to mark the new year with a week long celebration at Southfork, her family ranch. Many were only too pleased to accept this generous offer, but then there was the skeptical Martini.. He had found through his research into Raven's background that it was rare for Raven to make a generous gesture without an ulterior motive. He had received a tip off that the Raven would use the occasion to try and get her claws into him. He sought the protection of more trustworthy chaperons, only to be told that the task was too difficult given the devious methods employed by Raven to attain her objective. Now Martini is wondering if the safest way of participating in the festivities would be to attend through video conference only? Even this would involve risks due in part to the close accomplice of Raven, Light. Light, with all the power of her bendy straw company behind her, is capable of infiltrating even a secure communications network, and introducing a Trojan into the conversation. The purpose of this summary is therefore to ask the advice of 'Agony Aunt Chris' who will surely know how best Martini can enjoy the party without putting his reputation at risk. |
