. I know this will sound silly but I have a message on my profile and don't know how to get to it. I really will have to have some computer lessons

Hi Val , Not silly at all to ask any computer related questions as we are all learning every day,I also found out by myself some time ago ,that by clicking on my name ,I could see my profile.,felt very proud of myself then. ha haha.

I must say Ken, that I was pleased with myself to-day when I eventually fathomed out what to do. I panic too easily when I am at the computer. I should have learnt about computers when I was much younger and not waited until I was in my dotage

You are not alone Val , I was always told off for not presseing buttons even now i still dont know what quick ways on site but slowly im being learnt , thanks to Jon ,Star and the mods lol .

Never worry about asking as if we didnt we would never learn , someone will guide you.

Im lucky as when i visit Jon he puts my comp back healthy AGAIN

What very often happens to me is that I will be typing away merrily and then Whoosh.... and everything has disappeared and I haven't a clue what I've done.
