They'll all understand Mollie............my lot will probably think I'm just being 'tight' instead of working to a strict budget..............needs must .........and I hate big shops too.............much easier to pop in little charity shops, pay £2 for something thats worth more........come out with glow of satisfaction and then sling it on the spare bed with the rest of it !! Gonna be a nightmare trying to remember what I got for who................

So much for early planning.........I've been 'doing christmas' all year !!!!

Book tokens next year I'm thinking.....................lol

Oh ! I'd forgotten about the birthdays ! Thanks, Mollie.There was one this very day in California that I've suddenly remembered, dammit. Of course, they are eight hours behind us, so I could be off the hook if I get moving now and send an e-card. Too late for a pressy, though. Then there's Himself in October, also one grandson, another in California in November, and three plus meself in December. Gosh.

My teenage grandchildren have a birthday at Christmas -so does son no.2's girlfriend...............oh eck...................

and I've got son no 1#'s girlfriend with a birthday in October, my mate in November..................(now going to find corner, sob and suck thumb !!)
