Star, that happened to us once. We were in the sea at Torbay, and it just came rolling in and completely engulfed us. It was really eerie, but it stopped just as it reached the shore. We got out of the sea and stood on the beach watching it with loads of other people. I'll never forget it, it was so strange!

Hi Sally,

I was swimming on my own as my brothers didn't like swimming in salt water. I had never seen it before or since but never went in the water on my own after that.
