Default Fund raiser

On Saturday night we held our yearly fund raiser for the Hospice. Of course it had to be indoors this year because of the weather, but we still had a stonking good time! I don't think I've ever laughed till I've wet myself before!!
We had all sorts going on, a tombola, bingo, a bring and but, a treasure hunt (which I won!), a guess who game and loads more.
It was mainly friends and family who came, but a couple of MacMillan nurses turned up too, which made our night.
Anyway, we managed to raise £250 for the Hospice, which we will give to them tomorrow.
We've been doing this for 5 years now, and hope to still be doing it in 5 years time.
Anything for the Hospice. I'd even do a naked calender as in the Calender Girls!

Thumbs up Re: Fund raiser

Well done Sally and friends/family, and for such a good cause, there's not many people including myself who haven't had the need for the care and attention given to close one's in their final hours, sad but true.
