G'day to all in the cold country. Looks like another hot day here in the West. around 34 c.
Tomorrow, 26th January. Is Australia day. Everyone will be celebrating, & bar-b-q's will be on the go all over OZ. With fireworks in the evening. Of course there will be the usual altercations with the Police & drunks. I suppose one wouldn't be an Australian if you didn't have the ocassional stoush with authority. Have a good day ..... Jimbo |

Well, the local plod said it was a reasonably well controlled celebration. Except for the area that Ashazoe lives. Seems the plod riot squad were called to disperse about 500 drunken youths, from a local park. Otherwise, it was pretty well enjoyed by all those that attended various functions. With lots of fireworks for all.
I hope the listers will celebrate their own National day celebrations. All the best ..... Jimbo. |
