Hi Mary,
Following on from the poems about buttons in the poets room - I don't know if you saw it on tv today. A woman bought a lot of 5,000 buttons from an auction and returned 14 of them to the auction shown today. She got £42 for them. Now the interesting bit - she has an exhibition opening next week showing her murals made of buttons. After the sale they are being sold for £500 each. I bet you wish you had not run your collection down now . |

Oh eck...............I could have lost a fortune ! Oh well, never mind........still got lot of lovely buttons to drag out and run my fingers through.Been using some on birthday cards - oh silly me........ages ago I bought a frame from the charity shop with buttons all over it............I could have done one of them........never thought of doing a mural though............. |
