Seems England beat France in the semi's of the Rugby Union World Cup 14 - 9

Heard Bill shouting but wasn't sure whether he was cheering or swearing at the referee.

Bill wasn't the only one hollering at the telly, Mary. You should have heard things in our house!
I could hardly watch it. Why do England always put us through the ringer, and then go and win?!
Anyway, I'm so happy we beat the French. I've got nothing against them, in fact they were the better team.
I honestly thought we'd lost that one.

I didn't watch it.................grown men playing with a ball isn't really my thing so I was relieved when it was all over..............lol
