Thread: Away Monday & Tuesday

Just in case I don't get chance to get on here tomorrow (though expect I will) I'm going to see Mum on Monday. Flying visit.....coming back Tuesday but at least I'll get Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning with her until my bus is due. She's not been too well lately and is at the moment in bed most of the time and still tube fed. She sleeps a lot so may not even know I'm there...........in fact she told her friend I was there the week before last......

Confused or what ? Oh well, I'll know better when I see her for myself.

hi mary, sorry to hear your mams not well, i do know how you must be feeling no one wll ease your mind until you see her for yourself,any waysi hope there wll be some good news tommorow for you when you see her .love paulette

Thanks paulette...........Im not holding my breath I'm afraid. She's not been well for a while now and seems to be going downhill. Still, I'll do what I can and I know she's in the best place. The staff are brilliant.....like an extended family to her so at least she's with people who genuinely care.

Thanks for the good wishes .............I'm back now ! Well I have to have a giggle else I'd weep.

My Mum is away with the fairies at the minute.
No, she's not growing tomatos next year, not after this years crop (she hasn't grown them for years now),
will someone move the pile of baby clothes so she can get into bed -she is already in bed and there's no baby clothes,
who are you? -I'm your daughter ..............and so on and so on.

My brother's back next week ..........wonder what she'll have to say to him

Pleased I went to see her but oh its so nice to come home. Bless her.
