Thread: Mollie (Update Wednesday 18th July)

Hi everyone,
Have been in to see Mollie today accompanied by 'Happydays' and pleased to say that she was a lot better than on last visit.
Mollie was asleep when we got there, but with a little nudge woke up and was pleased to see us. She wasn't confused as much as she was, and I read out all your Get Well message's, she was made up and said how kind everyone has been and looks forward to talking with you all as soon as she is well.
Mollie has been taken off some of her medication and is having a lumbar puncture tomorrow and then a scan on Friday, Elaine will let me know what's what after this, that is if she hasn't gone home by then, Karen her sister is coming over to take the reins then for a short while as she hasn't seen her Mum, since she took ill.
Will keep you updated when I get more news.

Hi all,
I phoned the hospital earlier on (Saturday) to see how Mollie is and was advised that she is now back in Cairns ward.
I phoned the ward to see how long Mollie might be in, they told me it may be just (for the week-end or a bit longer,) depends on how Mollie gets on, they are now getting her up and moving about.
A number of you have asked for the address of the hospital, which I have let you have. Under the circumstances, if any of you would like to send your card's to Mollie care of my address, I will gladly take them in myself whilst visiting, in the event of Mollie going home sooner rather than later I will put them altogether in one envelope and post them on to her at her home address, for you.
Please personal message me for my address, and I will let you have it by return.

Great news about Mollie, Nanna, and thanks for letting us know. Please pass on my good wishes when you see her next, she sounds to be considerably better and that's wonderful. It would be good to hear she's home ....... so fingers crossed ............ she should be sleeping in her own bed soon.
