Sounds great Jacs, but will have to decline on account of health reasons and high insurance. Do hope it goes well for you though.

Lozzie sorry about the "while school is in " but it makes the flight cost so much cheaper ..mind I will check out a mid week maybe !

Private statics rent out at €35 a night sleep 4/6 thats leccy and water. So it would be a case of working out if anyone wants to share.

Cheap vino is 50cents a litre sangria about the same ....most spirits €12 for 3litres ......lol and menu del dia at around €8 (on site €11)

I will wait to see if anyone has a preference of dates ...well which month then come back on this

Just thought I ought to tell you where you are coming to !!!!

Nearest airport is Murcia 20/25 mins up the road

Alicante is about an hour ...so only as a desperate push really ........thinking about pick ups and cab fares !!

The site is Caravanning La Manga ......

I don't advise the chalets as they work out expensive ....it is better if I can get private vans

Most of them go out at €35 a night and are 2 bedroomed .... just looked on the website and it seems they have brought the cost of the "chalets" down but they still work out dearer and of course are smaller than a static van.

I will go and talk to a person I know, in the week, who rents out some vans to check that they haven't put them up.
With the vans you also tend to get much more in them ....like sky tv and microwaves etc..
