E128 Food Additive !
Found this on another site..........thought it worth mentioning:

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recently announced that the Food Colouring Additive E128 (Red 2G) should be regarded as being of safety concern. The UK Food Standards Agency is investigating which products available in the UK contain E128.
E128 is found mainly in cooked meat products and sausages but can also be found in jams and drinks. Britain is the only European Union country to use E128 (Red 2G). It is also banned in Australia, Austria, Canada, Japan, Norway, Sweden and the United States.
