Thread: Looking for connection Meidrim/Red Roses

My GGrandfather was born Meidrim (sp?) Name: Howell Rees B 18 Mar 1854 - Parents: William Rees B 1835 D 27 Jul 1912 and Elizabeth Howell B 1835 D Aft 1913.

Howell came to United States in 1870's Lived and Died in Nebraska.



I went to visit his gravesite recently, and in same family plot was another Headstone for a Mary E. and Thomas Adams. Her stone says: Born July 17 1865 at Red Roses So Wales Died Oct 9, 1915. Thomas says: Born Mar 4 1865 Died Aug 2 1919. I have not yet found their marriage records, so I do not know the maiden name of Mary. However, census records show that both Mary and Thomas were born in Wales. I am trying to find out if Mary and Thomas were friends or Cousins. Census says they both imigrated in 1887, and were married 1891.



Does anyone connect to these Adams or Rees or have any information? Would love to correspond with someone from the area.
