Hi

I'm doing a wee bit of background on the Rev Alexander Fairweather of the Free Church of Scotland and have this from the Annals of the Free Church of Scotland 1843-1900, Vol. 1, Edited by the Rev. William Ewing, D.D., Published Edinburgh, T. & T. Clark, 38 George Street, 1914
"FAIRWEATHER, ALEXANDER. Born at Dundee, 1807. Studied at the Universities of St. Andrews and Edinburgh. Ordained at Botriphnie, 1843. He had also charge of the congregation at Boharm till 1856. Died, 1869."

I also have the entries from Volume 2 of the Annals which detail the History of the Congregations relative to Alexander.

Alexander died in the "Free Church Manse, Parish of Botriphny (sic) in the County of Banff" on 24 Jun 1869 (I have the relevant page from the Register of Deaths). He was pre-deceased by his wife Elizabeth Clark on 17 Jan 1868. I believe they were both interred at Botriphnie Cemetery and am wondering if any Banffshire 'cousin' would be kind enough to visit and take a picture of their headstone? As the Parish Minister, I would assume there is a headstone.
