Default Great Aunt marries a Samuel Relton and emigrates to Australia.

    Dear Ancestry Aid,
We have finally found some Australian links and now I have no idea how to move forward! Jane Matilda Phillips was born in 1838 in Nettlebed. She is the sister of my great grandfather Owen. We have just found out that she married a Samuel Relton. There is a gravestone on a website from New South Wales - it is Rutherford General Cemetery, West Maitland. Jane died in 1905 aged 64. Her husband died in 1908 aged 69.
Jane and Samuel were married in Marylebone in 1862.

Jane Matilda Phillips was daughter of William and susannah Phillips of Nettlbed(which is a viallage near Henley on Thames. I sometimes visited it.
Her father was a carpenter and they had at least seven children.
On 1861 census Jane goes as a housemaid to the Cohen family(RG9/88/) inSt Marylebone Middlesex
IN 1861 she marries Samuel Relton who is the son of John, a farmer in Huntingdonshire and Naomi. who are living with their 9 children in 1841 (HO107/488/7) in Church Lane Holywell cum Needingworth.

In 1871 census RG10/337/ St George Bloomsbury
Samuel aged 35, a pork butcher, is living with wife, Jane 33 , his sister naomi aged36 and John Thomas 14 , a servant.

After this I cannot find them.
Any children they had must have been born either before they left for australia or in Australia.

John and Annie Relton are the parents of Samuel Relton, thank you for your interesting information about a John and Naomi - Naomi could look like Annie on a gravestone inscription I guess?
Your 1861 and 1871 information is excellent. It looks like they emmigrated to Australia and had no children, so it looks like the trail stops here!

    Thanks so much for looking!

John's wife was Naomi on the 1841census and she and John had a daughter Naomi. Maybe her nickname was Annie? I will find a birth for her to make sure.
Anything else you want just ask. I did not put the censuses in full on here as thought you probably had them but can do so should you wish.
Owen was two years older than Jane.
