Thread: Helen Dickson Death Records - Look up please

Hi,

i'm trying to trace my great great great aunt, Helen Mary Dickson (m/s Laing), who was born in 1848 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She moved with her husband and family to ireland in the late 1880's and i can find her husband John and her family, in the 1901 Census living in Ballycastle, Co Antrim - she does not appear with them on the census however, her husband is listed as married at this time. Her husband is listed as a widow in the 1911 census so i am assuming Helen must have died between 1901 and 1911 although i cannot find any death records for her.

Is anyone able to do a coupe of look ups for me or offer me some help at all???

I can't see any sign of a death in Ballycastle or elsewhere in Co Antrim for someone of her age. (There is an infant death for a Helen Mary Dickson in Ballycastle in 1906). If she's not in the 1901 Irish census, could she be in Scotland? Have you checked for here in the Scottish 1901 and for a death there too?
